At the beginning of the semester, Grand Canyon University (GCU) offers a variety of events designed to engage its students. The objective of this assignment was to create an event flyer for either an existing or fictional campus event.
The purpose of this assignment was to familiarize us with Adobe InDesign. We were tasked with understanding the fundamentals of setting up a new document, incorporating text and images, and utilizing various tools within the software. Through this exercise, we developed our skills in creating layouts while applying our creativity to meet the project’s specified requirements.
Document Specifications and Requirements:
-- Software: Adobe InDesign
-- Bleed (1/8"): Certain design elements must extend to the bleed line.
-- Images: The design must include at least two images, which may include a combination of images and vector graphics.
-- Event Details: The flyer must include the event's name, location, time, date, and a compelling reason for attendees to participate.
-- Branding: The GCU logo must also be incorporated into the design.
